Administrative Assistant

Seeking an enthusiastic, customer service oriented individual for Administrative Assistant position.  This is a fast paced position within our company and will report directly to the Contracts Administrator and CFO. 

 

Responsibilities include assisting with contract and proposal preparation, client communications, billing and payroll assistance, accounts receivable and payable assistance, replenishing office supplies, and assisting all members of the leadership team with account management.  Additional administrative duties will be required as needed.  Strong communication and customer service skills, strong work ethic, and an outgoing personality is a must.  The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, along with a desire and willingness to be forward thinking.  The position will be full-time and offers a great opportunity for an individual with experience looking for excellent benefits.

Landscape Enhancement Supervisor

Local Northern Virginia Landscape firm is accepting resumes for the position of enhancement supervisor.

 

Responsibilities to include the following:

  • Plant knowledge and proper planting procedures

  • Bilingual a plus

  • Good driving record (prefer Class B CDL)

  • Managing a crew to perform numerous landscape services

  • Must be capable of reading design prints and proper layout on jobs

  • Positive attitude with strong work ethics

  • Must have 5 years of field experience

Landscape Production Manager

Responsibilities include scheduling, project management, and job costing of small and large-scale landscape projects within an established and growing organization. Projects vary from sole source landscape enhancements to multi-trade installations.  Strong communication skills, ability to read blueprints/CAD, estimating and experience in production scheduling and management is a must.  Design experience a plus.  Plant and hardscape material and pricing knowledge is essential.  The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, along with a desire and willingness to be proactive.  The position is full-time and offers competitive salary & benefits package.

Business Development Manager

Seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual for Business Development position.  This is a high energy, fast paced position within our company and will report directly to the Vice President of Business Development. 

 

Responsibilities include company branding and promoting multiple aspects of landscape and nursery businesses.  The role will include creating and implementing company marketing plan to include prospecting, sourcing opportunities, networking, tracking and updating CRM tool, building relationships with prospective clients, social media promotion and updates, email marketing/newsletters, and advertising (design and coordination).  The position will work closely with VP of Business Development in growing new divisions within landscape business.  Additional administrative and business development duties will be required.  Strong communication skills, high energy, strong work ethic, and an outgoing personality is a must.  The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, along with a desire and willingness to be forward thinking.  The position will be full-time and offers a great opportunity for an individual with experience looking for flexibility.

Landscape/Nursery Summer Internship – PAID

A local landscape management firm serving the Washington DC metropolitan market seeks enthusiastic, self-motivated individual(s) for paid summer and winter internship position(s).

To maximize the learning experience, the internship will be comprised of multiple job responsibilities within the landscape maintenance and nursery management divisions of our company.  The goal is to gain experience in multiple areas of the landscape industry, to apply concepts learned in the classroom, and to enable the candidate to gain real-life experience prior to entering the workplace.  Responsibilities will include participation in maintenance services (pruning, mowing, equipment operation), landscape installation and planting, plant identification, and nursery/farm operations support.  The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, along with a desire and willingness to be proactive.
